What is Kickstarter?
Kickstarter is a crowdfunding site where customers can essentially pre-order a product before it’s produced. Every Kickstarter campaign sets a fundraising goal. If it meets that goal, all payments made are transferred to the creator who then goes off and produces the product. If the campaign does NOT make the goal, customers’ money is returned to them.
Kickstarter is perfect for people like me who don’t have the capital to produce a bunch of games. Without customers pre-backing the idea, projects like Race For The Title would never see the light of day.
